OK. We've been slacking again--but only about posting pics here. We still haven't finished the new book so we're working hard. In the meantime this is one of our very very favorite photographs-- "Lean on Me" is what we call it and it was taken for Heart and Soul magazine 10 years ago!

Sometimes the stuff on the desk is inexplicable and sometimes we know exactly why it's there... This was a still life from Saturday. Three phones--regular house phone and each of our Blackberries, a pencil, Tums, Mylanta, the remote control for the office TV, a pencil, pages we were editing, nail polish and a microwaveable heating pad (decorated with wine bottles and glasses). Deadlines create very interesting environments...
